Kentucky Fried Couture
KFC tasked us with launching their new line of merchandise in Australia on an e-commerce store. So, we asked - what if we took our merch to a place it had no business being? Australian Fashion Week.
Essentially, they told us where we could put our drumsticks. So what did we do? We went ahead and unofficially launched fashion week, a week before it kicked off. In just over three weeks, we pulled together an entire runway show complete with a bespoke music track, choreography, Y2K-inspired styling, and a set of wings that would give Victoria’s Secret a run for their money.
Here’s how it went down…
I loved having fun with the website product copy in KFC’s brand tone: A loveable Larrakin with a touch of swagger. Of course, I sprinkled in a little bit of sass. The result was oodles of merch sales which meant heaps of fundraising for the KFC Youth Foundation. Check out some examples below.
We picked up some metal too.
