A LITTLE bit ABOUT ME
Hey, I’m Saskia. I’m a Toronto-based copywriter, thinker and double-shot oat cap drinker.
In October, I packed my life into a suitcase and booked a one-way ticket from Brisbane, Australia to Tuh-ronn-oh. Do I sound like a local yet?
I like words and enjoy stringing them into sentences that people enjoy reading. I love a challenging brief and am always looking for ways to add value. I’ve worked with local and global brands from FMCG, retail, public administration and safety to not-for-profit, manufacturing and finance.
When I’m not immersed in the world of words, you can find me on a walk, scouting the best coffee shops in town or watching a cheesy rom-com.
Send me a message at saskia.lili.harper@gmail.com and let’s catch up over a cuppa.

KIND Words
Shaun Branagan, ECD Ogilvy Australia
Saskia is a self-starter.
Someone you can give a brief to and know she will deliver.
In spades.
For much of her time at Ogilvy she worked on her own.
And remotely.
With little supervision.
This was no barrier to her delivering first-class work.
One of these standout projects was a campaign for KFC.
Whilst the client initially just wanted a social post, announcing the arrival of new KFC merch, Sas had other ideas.
She pushed hard and turned this small brief into something way, way bigger, more interesting, and controversial - Kentucky Fried Couture – a cheeky hack of fashion week. An award winner both creatively and in terms of effectiveness.
Sas is an adept writer; whether it's a sassy (soz) social post, a snappy headline for a poster, a well-crafted radio or tv commercial or an activation that makes headlines, Saskia is your woman.
She takes feedback well and just strives to revise and make the work better. And does it all with a great big smile.
Whilst we’re all sad to see her move on from Ogilvy, personally, I’m excited for her. It’s a brave and bold move to up sticks and travel half-way round the world in search of new challenges and experiences.
But Sas is no shrinking violet (she's actually a redhead) and I know she will smash it.
Chris Little, Group Creative Director at Ogilvy Australia
"Saskia is an amazing young talent. Her growth as a writer and creative has been awesome to watch but it's her positive energy and unwavering enthusiasm for the job that has impressed me most. It's a rare quality that has the power to influence an entire team and act as the perfect set up for great work.”
Andrew Braithwaite, Strategy Director at Ogilvy Australia
"You know that feeling when you are waiting to hear which creatives are working on your brief… and then you are stoked when you get a favourite? Well… that’s how I feel when Saskia is on one of my briefs. I’ve worked with her on a range of projects over the past years and I always know I’m in great hands. She strikes the perfect balance of listening to the strategic recommendations, asking the right questions, and putting her own spin on the thinking.
She always puts in the work… and the result is always fantastic thinking and creativity that is on brief, but pushes it into interesting and valuable ideas and outcomes. Beyond the creative, Saskia is also great at presenting her thinking to clients - navigating the inevitable questions with expertise.
And professional output aside… she is also always just such a pleasure to work with. She has a fantastic, optimistic attitude (even in the face of less exciting briefs), and is eager to learn and grow - which makes every project a joy. Whether it is a brand new client, or one we have worked on for ages, Sas always does an amazing job.”
Blake Arthur, Creative Director at Ogilvy Australia
I just want to say how humbling it is to work with Saskia.
Not only is Saskia a brilliant writer but she's consistently producing suprising and headline grabbing ideas like Kentucky Fried Couture. Besides all of that Saskia is just a total legend.
